Dorsett and Jackson, Inc. currently has a staff of 30--15 of which are directly involved with customer contact and sales. Our nine technical sales representatives average over 20 years of experience in raw material sales and marketing. Most have technical or management degrees and have had extensive laboratory experience.
The members of our office staff combine the duties of customer service, product management, information technology and order processing. We can proudly state that Dorsett and Jackson, Inc. has the most experienced sales, office and warehouse staff in our industry.

received a B.S. degree in Business Finance from Cal State University.
Prior to joining Dorsett & Jackson, Inc. in 1967, Don worked 6 years
at Reichhold Chemicals as sales coordinator and production scheduling.

first 10 years at Dorsett & Jackson were spent in outside sales. In
1977, when Dorsett & Jackson moved from primarily sales agency to
distribution, Don assumed the position of Operations Manager and was
later appointed President in 1984. He continues in this capacity.

Developed a series of dispersions used for the coloring of a variety of industrial coatngs including polyester gel coats. Studied surface properties of pigments and designed custom wetting and dispersing agents to optimize performance parameters of the dispersions. Characterized all dispersions with regard to rheological properties and translated information into easily manufactured and stable colorants. These are now marketed by the Degussa Corp.

Marketing and direct sales responsibility throughout entire career. Helped to develop new technologies for emerging markets. Present emphasis is in radiation cure, but remain in contact with all existing technologies. Sales role is more supportive in the technical sense, but I maintain dozens of accounts. Interface with existing D&J personnel to transfer technical knowledge to successors.
