AEROSIL® RX 50 is a hydrophobic special-fumed silica treated with HMDS. Which has a negative electrostatic charge and provides efficient free flow aid for toners and dry powders in general. This product is applied to reduce the moisture pick up behavior of dry powders. This product is also enhancing durability of toners. It can improve mechanical strength with high loading in rubber application.
It also achieves good thixotropic property without extreme viscosity increase.
